Q: What are digital negatives all about?

A: We are offering our clients the option of purchasing Digital Negatives. Having the digital negatives offers you a lot of freedom. You can print as many as you like, make books, display on digital frames, calendars, screensavers, cards, there are lots of possiblilties. This is very valuable and not offered by many photographers. You have the option of choosing from 3 Digital Negatives Packages (some or all) of your images. I work on each portrait individually, giving every one a unique, custom look. You will also receive both black/white and color versions of your photographs on CD.

Q: What does a photo session include?

A: A one to two hour shoot either at your home or a location of our choosing. Client will be shown at least 30-35 images (or more) in both color and b/w in a private online gallery that can be viewed in the privacy of your own home for up to 10 days. Your photo gallery will be ready for viewing about 2-3 weeks after your session date. Session is for the time and talent of the photographer and does not include any prints or digital images.

Q: Where do you shoot?

A: I photograph anywhere and everywhere. We discuss the location and decide together.

Q: Do you offer digitial images?

A: Yes. Yes. Yes.

Q: How far in advance are you booked?

A: A month ahead is usually good.

Q: What is a photo session with Devon like?

A: Devon has a lifestyle approach to photography allowing kids to be kids. This is like playtime for your kids. Devon is there to capture memories in a natural setting.

Q: What if the weather is bad?

A: If it will interfere with beautiful photos, we will reschedule.

Q: What should my child wear?

A: Your child should be dressed the way you would dress them. We love bright colors, funky hats, cool footwear, as well as, classic looks. Our photographs capture the essence of your child.

Q: What is a good age to photograph my child?

A: 0-4 weeks, 6 months or when your child can sit up on their own, 12 months and older. There are three very great times in the first year, then usually once or twice a year.

Q: When will I receive my digital images or prints?

A: After you place your order and when we receive your payment, please allow 4 weeks for your oder to be delivered to your home. Devon Hill Photography owns the copyright to all images. Images may not be copied, scanned, or reproduced in any way without written permission from Devon Hill Photography.

Q: Can you retouch scrapes, blemishes, wrinkles?

A: Yes, just ask and this is part of our normal service.

Q: Do you archive session image files?

A: All purchased images are archived for one year. In order to make room for new clients, all unordered images are purged monthly.
